Lots of weddings....

First of all on a random note: I found a website with cute templates.... cutestblogontheblock.com
It's the little things that amuse me!

So lately I've been to lots of weddings. I went to Clifton and Erica's wedding on Saturday. All day long it had been beautiful weather, but as Tim and I were on our way to the wedding you could see the dark clouds rolling in. The sky was pretty dark when we first sat down, but it seemed like if we got a move on things we might miss the rain. Right after the music started for the family to start coming in the wind picked up, the aisle runner went flying into the air along with all of the rose petals. Music stopped, music started up again and things got started. At this point lightning was seen in the distance. The bride makes it down the aisle and the ceremony goes on. Through out the whole ceremony the wind was really going, thunder and lightning. Luckily it never started raining during the ceremony, but I think everyone was pretty worried the incoming weather. As soon as everyone got inside for the reception it just started pouring down rain. I was pretty amazed we didn't get rained on, but I did have my trusty umbrella ready to go. The reception was very pretty, complete with Brady's radio DJ playing country all night long.

Fun Templates

Does anyone know where I can find a fun template? I keep seeing all of these really cool ones but I'm unable to find any good ones/ can get it to work.

Help me!

I seem to have more fun trying to make it look cool than actually writing any blogs. But there isn't too much going on in my neck of the woods. Yesterday in Sweden it was " Midsommer" meaning it is the long day of the year. I guess they only have 45 mins of light on Midsommer. So in Sweden everyone has a big party and dances around a Maypole. So some of our crazy neighbors ( when I say crazy I mean they like to have a good time) the husband is Swedish so they had a Midsommer party. I tried all sorts of Swedish food and even danced around a maypole. I can't imagine what other ppl thought as they looked onto the party and saw dancing in a circle around this pole while some song in Swedish was being sung. So I guess a really popular sandwich is shrimp, hard boiled egg, a dollop of mayo, lemon and some caviar. I couldn't bring myself to try that one however.

For Linz

Here you go Linz, this one is just for you! However, I have a feeling this blog might point out how un-exciting life currently is, instead of having lots of exciting, witty stories..... But I'll do what I can.

So my summer really only just started this past weekend thanks to drill team officer camp. But I did get to see the twins, which now is sadly only a few times a year. Jenna's son Cade is sooo adorable, but not adorable enough to make me want my own children anytime soon! He has gotten so big these past couple of months. While seeing their twins and their hubby's we also had a mini-reunion of many of our old high school friends. I hadn't seen some of these people since high school. Its always funny to see how a person can be so different yet exactly the same.

I spent way more of the weekend than I wanted to watching the US Open thanks to Tim, my brother and my dad and their man crush on Tiger Woods. I swear the sports never end. Just when I think I can get a break something else is starting! And lucky for me basketball play-offs are on tonight. Can they not just get it over already?

But I have also managed to start off pretty productive.... I washed my car: inside and out, went to the bank, went to target several times :), have done ridiculous amounts of laundry, hardcore clean the room. I know, I know you are wondering who am I? We'll see how long I can keep up this act.
