Well Tim finally did it. We are engaged as most of you already know. I guess I'll keep the wedding updates on the blog... that way if you get sick of hearing about it you can chose not to read it :)

Over the past weekend we were in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. It is soo pretty! The pictures do not even give it justice! It was a little cold to take advantage of all of the fun things that they have. But even if you aren't an outdoorsy kind of person, like myself, it is still lots of fun. However do prepare yourself for the worst restaurant service ever! And I do not just say that because I am what some of you may call a "food snob"... it was really horrible. The food was good at all the places, but a. we didn't get our food for an hour at the very earliest. One restaurant ignored us for about 40 mins, Tim finally got up and put our order in at the kitchen. B. The wait staff rarely come by your table... you better hope you don't get the wrong food because you won't see your waitress once the food is put down on your table and C. They nickle and dime you for everything! There is no such thing as a free refill on soda.
On Saturday morning we got engaged. He proposed on the balcony over looking the lake. We were about to go to the folk festival and after
hanging out on the balcony for about 20 mins I was starting to get impatience and was ready to go. I asked if we could leave already and turned to walk back inside. Tim grabbed my hand, turned me around and got down on one knee. Of course I
said yes and was surprised that Tim caught me off guard.
Later we went to the folk festival. It had art and crafts, a petting zoo, tomahawk throwing lessons, you could watch soap making, a black smith... that sort of thing. It was cute, I was most interested in the baby animals. Tim learned how to throw a tomahawk... the thought of me attempting that was a little bit frightening so I stayed away at a safe distance.
